About Us
Dariyana is the story of two women living their dream of travelling the country and finding the best crafts for you. We started Dariyana store (ERECEVE SERVICES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED) in 2020 inspired by our shared love of travelling and handcrafted indigenous arts.
We are a small but conscious business that designs or curates handmade jewellery pieces crafted in different parts of India. We are committed to finding indigenous jewels and bring them to you. Till now, we have added Jewels from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Nagaland and textiles from Kashmir.
If we are the first pillar of the tripod that makes DARIYANA, then our artisans our definitely the second pillar. Since 2020, we have met families in the remotest parts of India and have felt a deep-rooted appreciation for their karigari and the sentiments that jewellery holds. Our jewellery is intricately designed and expertly handcrafted be it oxidized, brass, bead work or peepal patti. We use the finest materials, from lustrous metals to exquisite stones, ensuring each piece is special.
In 2021, we had the opportunity to move to Srinagar where we spent time with so many artisans learning about their art and struggles.
We then introduced Kashmiri kaftans and pherans into our collection and dream of bringing this beautiful Kashmiri art called Aari, Tilla, embroidery to every home, while providing employment opportunities to the craftsmen in Kashmir. Each piece embodies the magic of the valley and is a testament to the beauty of fashion, comfort and design.
We aspire to infuse Dariyana with the rich tapestry of India’s Cultural landscape and to keep travelling to broaden our horizons and ignite our creativity, to find yet another art to collaborate with craftsman and bring them to you in a way that it is unique yet relatable to the modern women of India. Because, the most important Pillar of the tripod is YOU !! The woman who chooses to wear Dariyana.
Drawing inspiration from our Mothers, Dariya and Nalini, whose elegance and grace is as exceptional as their love, our business is a celebration of their legacy of raising ambitious, independent daughters. Through every piece we create, we celebrate their strength and the spirit of fearless womanhood they passed on.
10 Years ago, two flatmates in their twenties with dreams of conquering the world would make business plans every days. And so came Dariyana.
Dariyana was born as a passion project of two friends and we are still excited every day to see where it takes us. We thank you for reading and hope you love wearing Dariyana.
